Food festival in Ubon Ratchathani - Thailand
Ubon Ratchathani is one of the biggest province in North-East of Thailand and it's where I live at this moment. A few days ago I went to a festival call ''aa-haan-thai-sii-pak'' that we can translate '' Thai food from the 4 regions in Thailand''.
You can find this kind of festival everywhere in Thailand, although the year. As we know Thai people are always looking for ''Sa-nook'', for funny and diverting moments, That's why Thai people always have festivals. Here is one of the festival I would like to present you. Thai food from the 4 regions mean that all the different food around Thailand was there, in the Technical Collage of Ubon Ratchathani.
Many chefs from every regions around Thailand, some from very far (I met a chef from Rayong, another one from Trang) came to present and sell their food. People from Chiang Mai came to present their delicious sausages, specialties of this region.
I has try many different foods a little bit of everything, like ''Phuu-wan-tod'' (Fried sweet crabs) from Satun province, also ''Sai-Auo'' (Sausage from the North) from Chiang Mai province and the last one is ''Yum-mod-dang'' (Ants spicy salad) from Ubon Ratchathani.
I took photos of Thai Food for show you. Maybe some dishes you never see before. Please add your comment about Thai food you like to eat or drink. I hope this first magazine from me will make you want to visit Thailand and also try the delicious Thai Food.
